Acne Medication

I have tried Proactive, clean and clear "soft" and Clinique and nothing seems to work. It will work for 3 days and then my skin is very dry and flaky and dry skin persists for up to 2 weeks. I currently use Acne free (only started yesterday). What has changed for my skin type of work? It can be over the counter or I can ask my dermatologist for medication. Talk to your dermatologist.
